Melissa MacOmber

Melissa Macomber, MBA, currently serves as a Digital Projects Specialist at the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer, providing high-level support for digital and operational projects while managing email marketing and special report development. Previous roles include Executive Assistant, where responsibilities involved managing constituent inquiries and office operations, and Manager of Unclaimed Property Operations, overseeing employee training, space management, and compliance with state record retention laws. Earlier experience as a Legislative Liaison for the Illinois Department of Public Health involved drafting legislation and representing the department before the General Assembly. Additionally, time spent as a Legislative Assistant in the Illinois State Senate encompassed bill tracking and office management. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bradley University and an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of Southern Indiana.
