Michael Mcleish is an experienced outreach manager currently serving at the Office of the Massachusetts State Treasurer and Receiver General since August 2022. Prior to this role, Mcleish worked as a legislative aide for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where responsibilities included supporting State Representative David Rogers as House Chair of the Committee on Higher Education from January 2019 to August 2022 and serving State Representative Jeffrey Sánchez, Chair of the House Committee on Ways and Means, from January 2018 to January 2019. Mcleish began involvement in public service as an intern at the Massachusetts State House in the Committee on Public Health from June 2014 to February 2015. Additionally, Mcleish served as President of the Young Mens Group at Milton High School from September 2010 to June 2014, organizing educational engagement trips and advocating for youth support within the educational system. Mcleish holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from UMass Boston, earned between 2014 and 2019.
