Tom Cream has extensive experience in information technology roles. Tom most recently served as the Director of Information Technology at the Massachusetts State Lottery, where they oversaw IT operations and coordinated projects between divisions and stakeholders. Prior to that, they were the Director of IT Operations at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Infrastructure and Support Manager at Alkermes. Tom also held IT leadership positions at Benefit Concepts, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Imprivata, Inc, LoJack Corporation, and Banyan Systems Incorporated. Throughout their career, Tom has been responsible for managing IT infrastructure, supervising support teams, and making strategic decisions aligned with business objectives.
Tom Cream earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Administration from UMass Boston, where they studied from 1979 to 1981. Tom also pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S; BSC) degree in Public Administration at the University of Massachusetts, although specific dates of study were not provided. In terms of additional certifications, Tom obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in December 2018. Tom also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI in July 2005 and an MCSE (2000) certification from Microsoft in January 2000.
