Erin Farmer

Assistant Attorney General - Health And Teacher Licensing Division at Office of the Minnesota Attorney General

Erin Farmer currently serves as an Assistant Attorney General in the Health and Teacher Licensing Division at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this, Erin completed a tenure as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Minnesota Court of Appeals, working under the Honorable Sarah I. Wheelock and Honorable Michael E. Burns, where responsibilities included researching and drafting findings and managing the Court's calendar. Previous experience includes serving as a Law Clerk at the Ramsey County Attorney's Office, where essential duties involved court appearances as a certified student attorney and supporting juvenile justice operations. Erin also held positions at Prototype Career Service as Operations and Scheduling Manager, at the City of Saint Paul as a Summer Law Clerk in the Human Rights Division, and at Brave New Workshop Comedy Theater, where leadership roles included Managing Director and Director of Marketing and Audience Development. Erin holds a Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a BFA in Theatre from Stephens College.
