Joey Place

Joey Place is a skilled Cloud Engineer currently employed at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General since January 2024. Previously, Joey served as a Cloud Consultant at Vervint from June 2020 to January 2024, providing Cloud and DevOps support across various industries with a focus on Azure services and Infrastructure as Code. Prior to that, Joey held multiple positions at JR Computer Associates, Inc., including Systems Administrator, working with Twin Cities charter schools to deliver IT support. Joey also gained experience as a SWIFT Tech Support Intern at U.S. Bank in summer 2019. Joey earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota between 2017 and 2020.
