Pete Surdo

Special Assistant Attorney General at Office of the Minnesota Attorney General

Pete Surdo is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Special Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General since June 2019 and a Fellow at The State Energy & Environmental Impact Center at NYU School of Law. Prior to these roles, Pete Surdo was a Principal at Robins Kaplan LLP from September 2004 to June 2019 and also held the position of Board Chair at Minnesota Community Care from June 2009 to December 2018. Additionally, Pete Surdo contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at the University of St. Thomas School of Law from 2008 to 2013. Pete Surdo received a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law after completing a BA at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Early legal experiences include roles as a Summer Associate at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. and a Legal Intern at Constellation New Energy.
