William Young

William Young holds a Doctor of Law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and has extensive legal experience as Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General since August 2014, focusing on condemnation actions and civil litigation for the Department of Transportation. An adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law taught persuasive legal writing, and previous legal roles include serving as a law clerk under Judge Edward T. Wahl and Judge Paul A. Magnuson. Young also has experience as a certified student attorney at the Ramsey County Public Defender's Office and has held operations management positions at both Macalester College and George Washington University, where leadership and staff development were key responsibilities.
