Zach Biesanz is a Senior Enforcement Counsel in the Antitrust Division at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General since February 2022. Prior to this role, Zach served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York from November 2012 to January 2022, where involvement in antitrust investigations and enforcement in civil and criminal matters was notable. Zach's experience also includes working as a Staff Attorney at the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs, focusing on consumer protection investigations and litigation, and as an Associate at Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP, specializing in class action litigation across various legal domains. Additional early experience includes a legal internship in the Antitrust Bureau of the New York Attorney General's office. Zach holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics and a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and Political Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
