Balqees K. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, project management, and logistics within various governmental entities in Bahrain. Currently serving as Project Leader at the Office of the Prime Minister Bahrain since September 2023, Balqees K. previously held multiple roles at the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) from January to September 2023, including Head of Strategic Planning and Projects Management, where responsibilities encompassed defining strategies aligned with national priorities and supporting executive decision-making. Balqees K. has also contributed significantly to the Bahrain Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications as a Senior Logistics Management Specialist, focusing on business development and investment attraction for the Bahrain Logistics Zone. A former Research Fellow in the Prime Minister’s Office Fellowship program, Balqees K. managed key initiatives in the COVID-19 response and has a background in shipping and air cargo management, alongside a Bachelor's degree in International Logistics Management from Bahrain Polytechnic.
