Braeden Caley

Braeden Caley currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, a position held since March 2025. Prior to this role, Braeden was the National Campaign Co-Director for the Liberal Party of Canada in early 2025 and the National Campaign Director for the Mark Carney Liberal Leadership Campaign. From May 2022 to January 2025, Braeden held the position of President & CEO at Canada 2020 and served as Senior Director of Communications for the Liberal Party of Canada from 2016 to 2022. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Policy and Communications and Press Secretary at the City of Vancouver from 2011 to 2016, and positions as Assistant and Communications & Outreach Coordinator in the Parliament of Canada between 2005 and 2011. Braeden holds an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of British Columbia.
