Fanny Lin, MPA, has held various roles in government offices, including as a Budget Analyst at the Office of the Queens Borough President and Director of Operations and Budget at the New York City Council. With a strong background in public administration, Fanny also served as a Legislative Aide in the New York State Assembly. Additionally, Fanny has experience in student services at University Libraries. Fanny holds a Master of Public Administration from Pace University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Management from the University at Albany.
Office of the Queens Borough President
Duties include to comment on all land-use items in their borough, advocate borough needs in the annual municipal budget process, appoint Community Boards, chair the Borough Boards, and serve as ex officio members of various boards and committees. They generally act as advocates of their boroughs at the mayoral agencies, the city council, the New York State government, public corporations and private businesses. Their regulations are compiled in title 45 of the New York City Rules.
