Gavin Innes

Gavin Innes has a diverse work experience in the field of offshore operations and ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) management. Gavin currently holds the position of Senior Project Manager at OSC AS, starting in December 2021. Previously, they worked at Omega Subsea - UK & Norway as an Offshore ROV Ops from September 2020 to December 2021.

Gavin's experience includes roles such as ROV Supervisor at ROVOP from December 2019 to September 2020, where they managed day-to-day ROV operations, coordinated crew handovers, and oversaw planned maintenance activities. Prior to that, they worked at Marine Platforms Limited as a ROV Supervisor from January 2018 to December 2019. In this role, they managed ROV personnel and activities, delivered toolbox talks, and performed condition monitoring of subsea controls.

Gavin also has experience in sales and consultancy, having worked as a ROV Sales Consultant at Marinequip AS from January 2015 to February 2019. Gavin established strong links with service companies and secured new business contracts.

Furthermore, Gavin co-founded Rovision AS in April 2016, where they served as the Tech Lead and Co-founder until October 2018. Gavin played a crucial role in securing funding and designing the ROV and controls system for the company's net cleaner product.

Earlier in their career, Gavin worked in offshore roles at Accpron AS, Helix Energy Solutions Group, and Sonsub Inc, gaining experience in ROV operations, maintenance, and documentation.

Prior to their offshore career, Gavin worked as an Electrical Controls Engineer at West Coast Controls Co from January 2000 to January 2005.

Gavin Innes attended Oldmachar Academy from 1995 to 2000. Gavin did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time. After completing their studies at Oldmachar Academy, Gavin went on to attend Altens Technical College Aberdeen from 2000 to 2005. At Altens Technical College, they obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, specializing in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
