Kamyar (Kam) Mosavat has a varied work experience in engineering and technology. Kamyar (Kam) is currently the Head of Construction and Mining Technologies at OffWorld, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were VP of Tunneling and Technology Lead, Founding Engineer at Arcbyt from 2018-2021. From 2014-2018, they held two roles at The Robbins Company, Product lead and project engineer - cutters, tools, and instrumentations and Geotechnical/mechanical engineer. In 2013, they were a Tunnel Engineer at Dragados SA and a Staff Engineer at Brierley Associates Corporation. From 2010-2013, they were a Civil Engineer at Tablieh Construction Company. In 2008, they founded and was the CEO of Noyan Energy, a renewable energy equipment and services company. Kamyar (Kam) also held the role of Research Assistant at Colorado School of Mines (Center for underground construction and tunneling) from 2012-2013.
Kamyar (Kam) Mosavat obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from P.I.A.U in 2010. Kamyar (Kam) then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, which they completed in 2014.
