Sue Harnett is currently the Director at OFG Bancorp. Prior to their current position, they were the CEO of How Women Lead, a company that works to help women succeed in leadership positions. Before that, they were with Goalsetter, Life Storage, How Women Invest, and Oriental. In November 2017, they became an advisor for EqualFuture Corp, a position they held until May of 2022. During their time there, they oversaw Retail Banking and Marketing activities in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Sue also launched Retail Banking in Russia in 2003. Prior to their work with EqualFuture Corp, they were with Juntos, FinTech Innovation Lab, and First Niagara Bank. At First Niagara Bank, they were a member of the Board of Directors and served on the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee.
Sue Harnett received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communications from Marquette University. Sue then went on to earn their Executive Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Finally, they earned certifications from the NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) in Certified Director and Governance Fellow, as well as Board Certification in Risk from The DCRO Institute.
