Christopher Deacon

Christopher Deacon is an accomplished independent chairman and non-executive director with extensive experience across various organizations. Notable roles include Independent Chairman at Portsmouth Water and Independent Non-Executive Director at Portsmouth Water Ltd, both since 2020, along with a long-standing position as Independent Chairman at London Business School Trading Company Ltd since 2009. Deacon currently serves as an adviser to the Board committee on offshore wind transmission programmes at Ofgem. Past positions include non-executive director roles at Thames Water and Aspire Defence group, along with significant contributions as Deputy Chairman, Trustee, and Treasurer of the Franco-British Council from 2013 to 2022. Deacon’s educational background includes an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge and studies at London Business School.
