David Pegg

David Pegg is currently a Senior Strategy Manager focused on Low Carbon Technology at Ofgem, where they explore the roles of regulated bodies in achieving a low carbon future. David previously served as a Senior Policy Advisor with the National Infrastructure Commission, concentrating on energy policy and the UK's net-zero goals. They completed a PhD at The Open University, contributing to international research on Mercury utilizing NASA satellite data. Earlier in their career, David worked as a Senior Geologist at Aureus Mining, managing multiple exploration projects in Liberia, and held various geological roles at Barrick Gold Corporation and Aureus Mining.
