Cyber Security Policy Lead at Ofgem

Konstantina Kagia has extensive work experience in various roles related to engineering, risk management, and cyber security. Konstantina most recently worked at Ofgem as a Cyber Security Policy Lead starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at the Scottish Government as a Product and Cyber Security Risk Manager from January 2020 to April 2023. At Mott MacDonald, they served as a Water & Wastewater Process Engineer from October 2016 to January 2020. Before that, they worked at Scottish Water in various roles, including Process Engineer in Water Risk and Lifecycle Planning from September 2015 to September 2016. Konstantina also has experience as a Graduate Specialist Engineer in different areas such as Water Process Science, Water Risk & Asset Life-cycle Planning, Research & Innovation, and Water Asset Strategy, during their time at Scottish Water from 2013 to 2015. In addition, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign from August 2011 to May 2013, and as a Graduate Research Assistant and Assistant Engineer at the National Technical University of Athens from 2010 to 2011. Their earliest work experience was as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the National Technical University of Athens from January 2009 to August 2009.

Konstantina Kagia obtained their education in a chronological order. Konstantina first attended the National Technical University of Athens from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a five-year Diploma in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Water and Wastewater Treatment.

Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Environmental Engineering specializing in Water and Wastewater Quality at the National Technical University of Athens from 2009 to 2011.
