Matthew Fovargue has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matthew started their career as an Intern at Dive and Sea, where they obtained a Rescue Diver license and gained an understanding of marine ecosystems. Matthew then worked as a Bar Associate at JD Wetherspoon, demonstrating their ability to handle large volumes of customers and deliver high-quality customer service. Matthew also worked as a Team Member at Yorica!, where they provided direct customer service in a high-traffic store and maintained consistent levels of service and cleanliness.

Matthew continued their journey at the John Lewis Partnership, initially working as a Stock Management Temp. In this role, they improved stockroom efficiency and maintained stock levels during busy sales periods. Following this, Matthew worked at Waitrose as a Supermarket Assistant for a short period.

Matthew's most recent role was at Bulb, where they had multiple positions over the course of four years. Matthew started as an Energy Specialist, gaining knowledge of the energy sector and its various influences. Matthew then progressed to the role of Manager, where they trained and developed a team of energy specialists and created and maintained Bulb's automated Chat Bot. Finally, they became a Project Manager, leading a project to improve knowledge delivery at Bulb and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Matthew's most recent work experience is as a Policy Manager at Ofgem, a role they began in November 2022.

Matthew Fovargue has a diverse education history. Matthew obtained their Master's Degree in Climate Change from King's College London, where they studied from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in History at Brunel University London, where they attended from 2012 to 2015. Before pursuing their Bachelor's Degree, Matthew obtained a Foundation degree in Engineering from Brunel University London, where they studied from 2011 to 2012. Matthew completed their high school education at King George V School from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate diploma.

Additionally, Matthew has obtained several certifications to supplement their education. In March 2019, they received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Association for Project Management. In July 2016, they obtained a certification in Sharks, Global Biodiversity, Biology, and Conservation from Cornell University. In December 2015, they obtained a certification in Super-Earths and Life from edX.
