Sam Blackaby

Sam Blackaby is an experienced professional with a strong background in policy and banking. Currently working as a Policy Advisor at Ofgem since November 2021, Sam previously served as a Product Manager for Open Banking at Santander UK from September 2016 to November 2021, focusing on the Developer Portal and Open Banking Security framework. Sam's experience in open banking includes contributions to the CMA Remedy program during a graduate role in the Payments industry. An Assistant Coach at Holmsedale Cricket Club Limited since October 2015, Sam's earlier career includes a role as a Customer Assistant at Marks and Spencer and serving as Commercial Ventures Director and Project Leader for Enactus Nottingham. Sam holds a Master of Arts in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham.
