Sinead O'Leary Barrett

Sinead O'Leary Barrett has a robust background in policy and investment, currently serving as Head of Policy & Investment at Ofgem since June 2023. Prior to this role, Sinead worked at HM Treasury as Head of Business Lending from April 2020 to June 2023. Sinead's experience at the Bank of England spanned from September 2014 to April 2020, where roles included Manager in EU Withdrawal, Senior Associate in Prudential Policy, and Associate in International Policy. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws in Corporate Governance & Financial Regulation from the University of Warwick, participation in an executive summer school at The London School of Economics focused on macroeconomic challenges, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Economics from Trinity College Dublin, along with an European Baccalaureate from the European School of Luxembourg.
