Tim Higginson

Tim Higginson serves as the Head of Compliance for Retail Markets at Ofgem, leading teams to ensure compliance outcomes. Previously, Tim held roles such as Deputy Head of Corporate Services at the UK Ministry of Defence, and Head of Compliance and Enforcement at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, where Tim developed a new operating model for the National Security and Investment Act. Tim's experience includes serving as an Innovation Partner at the Defence and Security Accelerator and leadership positions at various government departments, including the Cabinet Office and Government Offices for the East of England and South East. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Birmingham.
