Drutdaman Bhangu is a highly skilled plant breeder and research scientist with experience in improving varieties of onion, garlic, and peppers at ofi since August 2023. Previous roles include developing the leafy greens breeding program at Unfold and implementing new breeding strategies for sweet pepper at BASF in Mexico. Drutdaman's experience also encompasses tomato breeding work at Volo, along with foundational roles as a lab technician at Monsanto and an undergraduate research assistant at Saint Louis University. Educational credentials include a PhD and a Master's degree in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding from Texas A&M University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Saint Louis University.
