Cang Jin

Cang Jin is a Senior Optical Engineer at OFS since February 2017, leading multiple projects focused on exceptional power output and collaborating with high-profile clients to deliver customized solutions. Previously, Cang held positions as an Optical Engineer and Development Engineer, responsible for new product development and transforming ideas into prototypes for production. As a Fiber Laser Engineer, Cang innovated original product concepts and contributed to enhancing product features. Cang's experience also includes serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Université Laval and a Research Assistant at the Centre d'optique, photonique et laser, with a tenure as a Visiting Researcher at Bell Labs, where development of a micron-scale spatially integrated erbium-doped fiber amplifier occurred. Cang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval and a Master’s degree in Optics from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
