Oftalmolog, established in 1980, is the premier, popular science ophthalmology journal in the Nordics. We aim to foster a community of eye doctors by bringing you information on scientific breakthroughs in ophthalmology, clinical pearls, and updated guidelines. Additionally, we provide information about conferences, outstanding achievements by our Nordic colleagues, and advertisements, including job postings and equipment for sale. Oftalmolog celebrates extraordinary achievements in our Nordic community. Every year, we award outstanding articles published in Oftalmolog for their contribution to our community. We also award the top Nordic dissertations in ophthalmology to call attention to rising stars.
