Amir Chatrbahr

Amir Chatrbahr has over 17 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. Amir is currently employed at OFX as a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead. In this role, Amir is responsible for managing and leading software engineering projects.

Prior to joining OFX, Amir worked at Prospa as a Senior Software Engineer. During their tenure, they designed, developed, enhanced, and maintained several Microservice applications. Amir also implemented cloud-based app services based on Microservices architecture for financial systems, integrating with internal and 3rd party services.

Before Prospa, Amir served as a Senior .Net Developer/Analyst at Countrywide. Here, they developed, enhanced, and maintained multiple web applications and APIs that were designed for food distribution and booking services. Amir also enabled food consumers to book distribution through their own systems.

Earlier in their career, Amir worked as a .Net Developer at helloworld.com.au, where they were responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing various travel web applications. These applications allowed clients to search and book holiday packages, flights, cruises, and hotels.

Amir also worked as a .Net Developer at Neon Stingray, where they developed various .Net applications, including the Hoyts At Home application, which provided a website for browsing, choosing, and purchasing movies online.

Additionally, Amir has experience as a .Net Developer at TOSAN, where they developed and maintained banking systems, including SWIFT and TI subsystems that facilitated communication between banks and supported international trade finance.

Amir's early career involved working as a .Net Developer at Rad Samaneh, where they designed and developed the Forensic Medicine Toxicology Lab System, which enabled the registration and processing of analysis requests and results.

Amir Chatrbahr obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Azad University (IAU) from 1998 to 2002. In April 2020, they also obtained a certification in C# (Hard) from TestDome.
