Jaco Veldsman

Jaco Veldsman currently serves as the Global Head of Non-FX Revenue at OFX since July 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing and optimizing all non-FX revenue generating activities globally. Prior to this role, Jaco co-founded Paytron, which was acquired by OFX in June 2024. Jaco's extensive experience also includes positions such as COO Australia and CEO UK at Epoch Capital, Chief Risk Officer for Asia Pacific at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and Head of Risk for FX & FX Options at Commonwealth Bank. Jaco's career in risk management began at Standard Chartered Bank, where multiple roles were held from 2001 to 2004. Jaco holds a CFA designation from the CFA Institute and a Bachelor of Commerce in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Stellenbosch University.
