At OGC Energy, we are a leading consultancy specialising in materials, corrosion, and asset integrity for the energy sector. We support operators, EPCs, and developers with clear, practical technical solutions that help ensure the safety, reliability, and long-term performance of energy assets.

In addition to our consulting services, we have developed AlloySelect a cloud-based corrosion and materials selection software designed to help engineers quickly and confidently assess corrosion risks and choose appropriate materials for energy and industrial assets.

OGC Energy is led by Ivan Gutierrez, who has almost 30 years of experience in materials and corrosion within the energy industry. Our team combines deep technical expertise with an industry-specific mindset, adapting to each project’s unique scope and challenges. We work across sustainable hydrocarbon production, CCS, offshore wind, and hydrogen projects, supporting the energy transition with robust, future-ready solutions.

As part of our commitment to technical excellence, we actively engage with international organisations dedicated to advancing corrosion control and prevention. Our memberships include AMPP, BSI, Institute of Corrosion, IOGP, GPA Europe, and ISO, and we contribute to committees and working groups shaping industry standards and best practices.

With a track record of over 400 successful assignments in 50 countries, OGC Energy is a trusted partner for organisations seeking both expert consulting and scalable digital tools for their projects.
