Heidi Unruh

Heidi Unruh is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and the arts. Currently serving as a Registered Behavior Technician at Highlights Healthcare since September 2023, Heidi applies skills as a blind educator and certified braille transcriber. As a Special Education Teacher with Ogden School District and an Art Instructor at Waterfall Canyon Academy since 2014, Heidi effectively supports students aged 14-20 with diverse challenges and delivers tailored arts curricula. Previous roles at Utah State University include Graduate Instructor and Teaching Assistant, where Heidi taught photography and managed a photo lab. With a Master of Fine Arts in Photography and a Bachelor of Science in Art, Heidi’s background also includes roles as Visual Communications Director at Kelloggs Portrait Studio and Photographer at Lifetouch Portrait Studio, showcasing a strong foundation in visual arts and effective communication.
