Darren Caruso

Darren Caruso has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Darren began their career as CFO at Oglethorpe, Inc in 2016. Prior to this, they served as CEO/CFO at Hollywood Hills Rehab/Hollywood Pavilion from 2012 to 2015. In this role, they successfully managed the operations and licensure of a healthcare campus during a federal probe, while improving operations and increasing revenue. From 2006 to 2012, Darren worked at Long Term Health Management, Inc as President, providing consulting services to nursing homes to maximize reimbursement and profitability. Before that, they held various roles at Avante Group, Inc from 1990 to 2005, including CEO, President, Vice President Reimbursement, and CFO/Controller/Financial Manager. At Avante Group, they were responsible for setting up financial systems and enhancing revenue streams for the company's nursing home facilities.

Darren Caruso attended Emory University's Goizueta Business School from 1981 to 1986. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business and Accounting.
