Karen Savarese

Karen Savarese has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Karen most recently worked as the Corporate Procurement Manager at Oglethorpe, Inc since September 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Personal Assistant for a self-employed individual from September 2016 to May 2018.

From January 2013 to September 2016, Karen served as a Finance and Administration Assistant at SafeSpace Inc. Their responsibilities included managing the Sage Donor Database, processing fundraising donations, assisting the Finance Director with vendor contracts, reviewing invoices, and supporting payroll processing.

Karen also worked at United States Pharmaceutical Group Inc. DBA Nations Health from October 2009 to December 2012 as a QA Analyst, Customer Service Representative, and Insurance Agent BPO. Before that, they were a Health and Life Insurance Agent at Bankers Life and Casualty from May 2007 to September 2009.

Prior to their roles in the insurance and pharmaceutical industries, Karen worked as a Vice President of Retail for their own business as an Owner-Operator from February 1980 to December 2008.

Karen Savarese attended Wilson Technological School from 1976 to 1978, where they earned a Commercial Art Certificate in the field of Commercial and Advertising Art. Afterward, Karen went on to study at Smithtown High School East, where they obtained their GED in General Studies.
