Mr. McGrew is the firm’s Chief Client Services Officer and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s strategic business development and marketing initiatives. In his role, Mr. McGrew manages the firm’s Client Services Department, which includes business development, public relations, events, publications, marketing, and other functions. He works with firm attorneys and practice groups on developing proposals for clients and potential clients, as well as other business development and marketing initiatives. He also develops value billing/alternative fee offerings, and he leads the firm initiative on conducting client assessment surveys. Additionally, Mr. McGrew serves as a speaker and moderator on various topics at events conducted by Ogletree and other organizations.
Prior to joining Ogletree, Mr. McGrew served for eight years as in-house legal counsel and director of human resources for Emeril’s Homebase, the corporate headquarters for Chef Emeril Lagasse’s restaurant and related operations. Prior to that, Mr. McGrew was a partner in a law firm in New Orleans, representing management in labor and employment law matters.
Mr. McGrew is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and a Fellow in the Louisiana Bar Foundation. Mr. McGrew formerly served as president of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Louisiana Chapter, and he is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is also a member of the Legal Marketing Association and has a Green Belt certification from Legal Lean Sigma.
