Filipe Tavares

Filipe Tavares is a seasoned product engineer with extensive experience in the aeronautics sector, currently holding a position at OGMA-Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, SA since September 2011 as a Product Engineer specializing in tooling and as a buyer for both aeronautic and non-aeronautical procurement. Prior to this role, Filipe worked at PERI from March 2006 to January 2011 as a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator, managing stock levels and liaising with international subsidiaries, and initially as a Maintenance & Logistics Trainee, contributing to the development of stock analysis tools. Filipe's career began at The Phone House, where responsibilities included analyzing redemption requests and processing payment orders. Filipe holds a Licenciate degree in Materials Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, earned between 1996 and 2003.
