Dapo Okubadejo

Dapo Okubadejo has extensive experience in finance and advisory roles, currently serving as the Commissioner for Finance and Chief Economic Adviser to the Ogun State Governor since May 2019. Prior to this, Dapo spent nearly a decade at KPMG, where leadership roles included Partner & Africa Leader in Deal Advisory & Private Equity, overseeing teams across the continent, and Partner & Head of Corporate Finance & Financial Advisory in West Africa. Earlier career experiences include positions at KPMG Nigeria and Arthur Andersen LLP, focusing on transaction services, financial advisory, and assurance in various sectors, including oil and gas. Dapo holds a Master of Finance from the University of Glasgow and a BSc in Agriculture from Obafemi Awolowo University, alongside multiple executive education credentials from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
