Daisy Surjo Vergara is a highly experienced mental health professional with a comprehensive background in family and individual counseling, specializing in play therapy and early childhood mental health. As the Founder, CEO, and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor at Ohana Behavioral Health since February 2018, Daisy has developed and implemented treatment plans using cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused models, while also managing administrative tasks for the practice. Previous roles include Adjunct Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Seattle University, as well as positions ranging from Mental Health Therapist to Owner in multiple counseling practices. Daisy holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Chaminade University of Honolulu and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hawaii Pacific University.

We are a multidisciplinary group of therapists. We provide counseling services for children, teens, individuals, couples, and families. With a warm and collaborative approach, we focus in assisting you in moving towards self-growth, and an overall sense of well-being. We integrate therapeutic techniques from different approaches, with emphasis in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution- Focused, Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Play Therapy, Sandtray, and Expressive arts. Our mission is to provide counseling to a culturally diverse client population from a social justice framework.
