Matthew Switaj

Matthew Switaj has over 20 years of work experience in the roofing and construction industry. Matthew started their career at Lakefront Roofing Supply as a Satellite Location Manager from 1996 to 2006. Matthew then worked at Aloha Construction Inc as a Claims Specialist from 2012 to 2014. Matthew has been with O'Hara's Son Roofing Company since 2014 and has held various roles including Lead Estimator-Sales and currently serves as the VP of Sales. In their roles, they excel in sales, customer service, management, estimating/engineering, and procurement.

Matthew Switaj attended Harry S. Truman Community College from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in History. Matthew then pursued further education at Northeastern Illinois University from 2010 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. In addition to their academic qualifications, Matthew has also obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they completed the NASCLA Commercial General Building Exam from the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies. In July 2019, they earned the OSHA 30-Hour certification from USF Health & Education International Foundation in Panama. Lastly, they became Procore Certified as a Subcontractor in May 2017 through Procore Technologies.
