Franziska Harms

Franziska Harms is a seasoned professional in aerospace engineering with extensive experience in systems engineering and research. Currently serving as Team Lead in Systems Engineering Management and a Systems Engineer at OHB SE since January 2010, Franziska has held roles as Technical Manager and Subsystems Engineering Manager. Previous positions include Research Engineer at the Deutsches SOFIA Institut at Universität Stuttgart, focusing on telescope pointing control at NASA Ames Research Center, and Visiting Research Engineer also at NASA Ames through USRA. Early career experiences involved internships at Dutch Space and MAN Spatial Guyane, alongside a role as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Space Systems at Universität Stuttgart. Franziska holds a Dr.-Ing. and a Dipl.-Ing. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, along with a Preliminary Thesis completed at Delft University of Technology.
