Guido Pedone

Guido Pedone is a skilled Space Systems Engineer currently working at OHB SE since July 2022. Prior to this role, Guido held a PhD student position at Airbus Defence and Space - Intelligence from July 2019 to June 2022, focusing on autonomous concepts for the surveillance and tracking of space debris. Additionally, Guido completed a Master Thesis at the same company between September 2018 and February 2019, researching strategies and data processing for the optical observation of space debris. An internship at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center occurred in August 2016. Guido has a solid educational background, having obtained a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Bundeswehr University Munich (2019-2023), a Master of Science in Space Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2016-2019), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2013-2016). Earlier experience includes serving as a referee in the youth sector for Associazione Italiana Arbitri (AIA-FIGC) from 2010 to 2013.
