Jon Iñigo Caudepon has a diverse work experience that spans across different roles and companies. Jon Iñigo started their career as a Junior Researcher at CEIT (Centre of Technical and Research Studies of Gipuzkoa) in May 2007, where they worked until February 2008. Jon Iñigo then joined GMV Aerospace and Defence in February 2008 as a GNSS Engineer, and remained there until May 2011. Following that, they worked at OHB SE, starting in June 2011 as an Electrical & Avionics Architect for the European Data Relay System (EDRS-C). Jon Iñigo held this position until December 2019, during which they ensured consistency of the electrical design with technical requirements and constraints, and identified and analyzed design solutions at various levels. Afterwards, they took on the role of Team Leader for the Electrical Architecture Group at OHB SE in January 2016, where they led and coordinated the Electrical Architects Team and established and maintained general electrical architecture tools and processes. Caudepon currently holds the position of Head of Electrical and Avionics HW Architect Department at OHB SE since March 2021, where they are responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of the department, as well as the introduction of new processes, tools, and technologies.

Jon Iñigo Caudepon completed their MSc in Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Navarra from 2002 to 2007. In 2006 and 2007, they participated in the Erasmus Exchange Programme at Grenoble INP - UGA. In 2009, Jon pursued a Master's degree in Space Technology at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
