Katia Tizzano

Katia Tizzano is a proficient aerospace professional with extensive experience in satellite functional testing and project management, currently serving as Subproject Manager and Satellite Functional Test Engineer at OHB SE since September 2016. At OHB SE, Katia has been responsible for system and sub-system functional testing for the Meteosat Third Generation, including test preparation and analysis. Prior to this role, Katia worked as an Aerospace Engineer at Intelligentia, focusing on AIT activities and documentation. A notable academic background includes a Master’s thesis at Airbus Defence and Space, where Katia developed a safety assessment for a robotic free-flyer on the International Space Station, as well as experience as a trainee supporting Biolab engineering operations. Katia holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
