Markus Peukert has extensive experience in propulsion systems engineering. Markus worked at Astrium from 1997 to 2010, where they served in various roles as a propulsion systems engineer for a range of projects. This included both commercial and agency projects, such as ATV, Alphabus, Moon and Mars Landers. Markus also led the propulsion analysis team and played a key role in expanding its expertise and developing new competencies and methods. In 2010, they joined OHB System as the Head of Propulsion Systems, a position they held until at least 2022. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Head of Propulsion Systems & STS Engineering at OHB System.
Markus Peukert started their education in 1990 at the University of Stuttgart, where they pursued a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Markus successfully completed their studies and obtained a Diplom degree in this field in 1996. In 2009, Markus attended SpaceTech, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
