Benoit Mathieu

Benoit Mathieu is an accomplished aerospace and procurement professional with extensive experience in the satellite and defense industries. Currently serving as the Managing Director of OHB Sweden AB since January 2021, Benoit has successfully overseen significant revenue growth, expanded the company’s workforce by 50% in 2023, and secured contracts outside Europe while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Prior to this role, Benoit held various leadership positions at OHB SE, Airbus Defence and Space, Astrium GmbH, and EADS, where notable achievements included leading earth observation program activities, managing multi-million euro procurement volumes, and implementing complex improvement programs. Benoit holds engineering diplomas from Ecole Centrale Paris and the University of Technology of Munich.
