Erik Hjort

Erik Hjort is an experienced AIT & Production Engineer at OHB Sweden AB since May 2020, where work involves assembly, integration, and testing of multiple spacecraft, including Biomass and Heinrich Hertz. Prior to this role, Erik served as Test Leader at ECAPS AB from 2017 to May 2020, overseeing hot fire, vacuum, vibration, shock, and cold testing of rocket thrusters, and successfully testing nearly 100 thrusters at the facility in Grindsjön. Erik's engineering career began at SSC - Swedish Space Corporation Ecaps from 2014 to 2017, focusing on testing monoprop thrusters under various conditions. Erik holds a Kandidatexamen in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, completed in 2008.
