Propulsion Engineer at OHB Sweden

Ettore Scami is a Propulsion Engineer at OHB Sweden AB since March 2023, with prior experience at Airbus Defence and Space, where a focus was placed on developing thermal rectification techniques for satellite thermal control subsystems during an internship. Before that, Ettore conducted a master's thesis in turbomachinery research at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, examining the efficiency of turbines influenced by turbulence generator grids. Additionally, involvement in the AESIR student association facilitated practical experience in rocketry design and construction, while participation in the MIST project involved thermal orbital simulations for a student satellite. Earlier experience as an undergraduate research assistant at Università di Pisa involved work on non-Newtonian fluids, culminating in a bachelor's thesis presented with distinction. Ettore holds degrees in Aerospace Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Ingegneria Aerosopaziale from Università di Pisa.
