Ohio Auditor of State
Andrew Thom has extensive experience in auditing, specifically within the state of Ohio. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief Auditor for Data Information Technology Audit at the Auditor of State - Ohio since March 2021, Andrew has previously held positions as a Senior IS Audit Manager and Financial Auditor within the same office, demonstrating a strong commitment to the auditing profession since 1994. Andrew’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, earned between 1991 and 1996.
Ohio Auditor of State
Under the direction of Auditor Keith Faber, the Auditor of State's office is responsible for auditing and providing financial services to all public offices in Ohio. This encompasses more than 5,800 entities including cities, counties, villages, townships, schools, state universities and public libraries as well as all state agencies, boards and commissions. The office also provides financial services to local governments, investigates and prevents fraud in public agencies and promotes transparency in government. The office is divided among eight regions, including a state region.
