Justin Hopfer, MPA, has extensive experience in performance analysis within the public sector, currently serving as Principal Performance Analyst at the Auditor of State - Ohio since March 2013, with prior roles as Senior Performance Analyst 1, Performance Analyst 2, and Performance Analyst. Before this role, Justin was a Deputy Court Clerk at the Maumee Municipal Court from April 2009 to March 2013 and gained experience as a Graduate Assistant at Bowling Green State University from August 2010 to May 2012. An internship at the Maumee Police Division took place from January 2010 to April 2010. Justin holds a Master of Public Administration in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from The University of Toledo.

Ohio Auditor of State
Under the direction of Auditor Keith Faber, the Auditor of State's office is responsible for auditing and providing financial services to all public offices in Ohio. This encompasses more than 5,800 entities including cities, counties, villages, townships, schools, state universities and public libraries as well as all state agencies, boards and commissions. The office also provides financial services to local governments, investigates and prevents fraud in public agencies and promotes transparency in government. The office is divided among eight regions, including a state region.
