David Luptak

Dave Luptak is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the industrial and legal sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Ohio Coatings Company since June 2022, Luptak previously held the position of Chief Legal Officer at Esmark Inc. from September 2008 to March 2022, where responsibilities included leading Esmark's industrial manufacturing unit and later Esmark Steel Mill Services, LLC as CEO. Earlier roles include Chief Executive Officer at Esmark Industrial, LLC from November 2006 to March 2016 and Plant Manager as well as Assistant General Counsel at United States Steel Corporation from July 1985 to November 2006. Luptak holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where studies were completed from 1978 to 1981.
