Jeffrey Newman

Jeffrey Newman is an experienced fiscal professional with a strong background in public administration and finance. Currently serving as the Deputy Director Chief Fiscal Officer at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services since August 2020, Jeffrey has held key positions including Chief of Finance and Business Services at the Ohio Adjutant General from September 2015 to August 2020, and Chief of Budget Planning and Internal Services at the Ohio Office of Budget and Management from January 2006 to September 2015. Jeffrey also worked as Deputy Chief of Finance at the Ohio School Facilities Commission and as a Budget Policy Analyst at the Ohio Legislative Service Commission. Jeffrey holds a Master of Public Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education from the same institution.
