Nate Moffitt

Nate Moffitt possesses extensive experience in legislative affairs and public service, currently serving as the Commission Clerk of the Ohio Oil and Gas Land Management Commission and Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources since June 2021. Prior roles include Legislative Associate at Stateside Associates, Legislative Aide to State Senator Steve Wilson, and various positions within the Ohio legislative and executive branches, including a staff assistant for Governor John R. Kasich. Nate Moffitt began a career in public service with the Ohio House of Representatives as a Constituent Aide, and also has experience in campaign volunteering, management, and legal internship. Educational qualifications include two Bachelor of Arts degrees from The Ohio State University in Criminology & Criminal Justice Studies and Psychology.
