Anita Ervin

Accounting Director at Ohio History Center

Anita Ervin has held various accounting and finance roles throughout their career. Anita started as a Project Services Coordinator at the American Red Cross in 2002 and later worked as a Project Manager at Woods Research, Inc. Anita then became an Independent Contractor, serving as a Bookkeeper & Administrative Specialist. Anita joined Ohio History Connection in 2017 as an Accounts Payable Coordinator and later as an Accountant. Anita also worked at Weldon Jordan & Associates as an Auditor before returning to Ohio History Connection, where they progressed from Senior Accountant to Interim Accounting Manager and eventually to their current role as Accounting Director. Anita'scareer spans over 19 years of diverse experience in accounting and finance roles.

Anita Ervin completed a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina in 2002. Anita then pursued a Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2016 to 2019. In December 2019, Anita obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from NASBA. Anita also attended Winthrop University from 1994 to 1997.
