Erin Zix

Erin Zix (Swaney), CPA, CFE, has extensive accounting and auditing experience, currently serving as an Accountant at Ohio History Connection since January 2015. Previously, Erin worked at Battelle as a Senior Internal Auditor from July 2008 to December 2014, where responsibilities included conducting internal policy reviews, preparing audit reports, and assisting external auditors. Erin also held the position of Principal Tax Accountant at Battelle Memorial Institute for a year, focusing on preparation of nonprofit tax documents and compliance research. Early in career, Erin gained experience as a Staff Accountant at Norman, Jones, Enlow & Co., leading audits and preparing financial statements. Erin holds an MBA in Accounting from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Wheeling University.
